Why is that? From what I know, black skin is actually thicker.
In Thomas Hauser's Muhammad Ali bio Ali's doctor said black boxers don't get cut as easily.
My friend's wife is a nurse, and she said that when she gives people shots, black skin is harder to poke through.
That should mean more insulation.
