My biggest complaints are: The centralized police force he created (the Germans called it the Gestapo, we call it Homeland Security), his belief in torture, invading the wrong country, the Patriot Act, domestic spying, habeas corpus issues, declaring an open ended war on a non-specific enemy (the war on terror is too broad), and cronyism. I'm sure I forgot a few.

Comparing Bush to Hitler and Homeland Security to the Gestapo, while it might feel good, is beyond the pale. So far, in fact, it weakens credibility. While you've provided some general complaints about Bush, I'm still seeking examples of how Americans are losing their civil rights.

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.
