Here we go again...
Yet another school teacher doing the big nasty with an underage student:
http://deseretnews.com/article/1,5143,695266658,00.html And the husband gets arrested for freaking out after catching them in flagrante delicto. Yes, pulling the gun was stupid, but you can't help but feel for the poor guy. I hope Judge Davis goes easy on him. Burning their clothes was a nice touch.

I read once that in Brazil you are allowed to kill your wife and her lover if you catch them in the act. I wonder if that is still a legal defense there.

It has been a long time, but I seem to recall from my Crim Law class that there was actually a common law defense IF you caught your wife messing around and then shot her or the lover. Any help on this one?

While I would not expect completely calm rational behavior I would expect a gun to remain in its place of storage. I stand by my statement that pulling a gun on your wife and teenage lover is psycopathic and deserves no sympathy.

The fact that he didn't shoot shows he wasn't psychopathic.
