Mormonstories podcast
i know this is sort of old news, but...
Does anyone know what happened with these? Did he just get tired of doing them? Did he leave the church? Was he asked to stop doing them? The stop seemed sort of abrupt. |

He was asking for someone else to run the site a ways back. I don't know if anyone took him up on it. That kind of effort--hard to find someone with that kind of passion for that thing. SIEQ would be perfect for it. |

My understanding is Dehlin took a new job, either on the East Coast or maybe overseas and was going to be away from the podcast for awhile. That and his new gig at Sunstone (executive director, or fundraiser, or something similar) made it tough to devote the time necessary for the podcast. First few dozen episodes were great.

Dehlin has passed off Mormonstories to a group of folks who are attempting to resurrect it. I know that they have conducted several interviews and are working through the issues of getting the podcast up and running in a semi-professional manner. The group running it now appears to be very talented and it should be excellent.
To my knowledge, Dehlin has not received flak from HQ for his work but I haven't specifically asked him that.

Wonder if he is related to Joel Dehlin, current church CIO.
