Which compounds our lack of quality wins plus the bonehead losses.

The failure to defeat UCLA coupled with the bonehead loss to Tulsa keeps us about where we deserve to be this year. If, and it's a big if, we manage to defeat Utah this year, it would be our only quality win. Although some might argue that AFA wasn't a bad win. Yet a team which loses to Navy isn't convincing me.

The TV contract is part of it, but so are the timing of the losses. We got two early and are still climbing back in the rankings, without the help of TV.

The reason why we haven't climbed back into the polls like we did after going 1-2 to start last year is because we haven't been waxing teams like we did last year.

BYU is a borderline top 25 team and it shows.

I thought the problem was our SOS?

It's a combination of reasons. One of which is we have virtually fallen off the map of the national college football scene, thanks in large part to our crappy tv deal.
