Why is the US 45th on this list?
I say hamburgers and work hours.
Don't give the lazy answer: healthcare. I know the US has better healthcare than Cayman Islands, Monaco, Malta and Jordan. https://www.cia.gov/library/publicat.../2102rank.html On the flip side,...Do you want to live past 78? Also, notice how Western Africa dominates the bottom of the list - even 20 years after Band Aid's "Do They Know It's Christmas?" I thought that was going to solve everything. Look at the difference for peoples in the poorest or war ravaged lands.
32 years! That's akin to the Medieval Ages. The 36 worst ones are in Africa. Bhutan sneaks in there and then Africa is represented all over again.

Maybe it's the stress from trying to "balance". It seems like in a lot of those Asian cultures your top 3 priorities are work, work, and work.
