Default This insomnia is driving me nuts

Here it is 4 AM and I can't sleep....again.

3rd time this week I've pulled an all-nighter without wanting or trying too.

Driving me crazy. Any solutions or suggestions?

I've had problems with insomnia as well. Things that can help me fall asleep include watching a movie/tv, especially something I've seen before or playing a mindless video game that helps me zone out (like Madden or NCAA).

The thing that has worked best for me since I got married though is getting some. I always seem more relaxed afterwards and have no problems sleeping... but that's not really an option now, so I'm sorry bro. Insomnia really sucks.

I don't know what your daily schedule is like, but can you find time to exercise?

Try to avoice coffee after 2:00 p.m.

You might try over-the-counter sleeping pills you can buy at Walmart or wherever. The same ingredient in Nyquil. I use the stuff on occasion when I think I might have trouble sleeping or if I'm traveling.

Have someone put a pillow on your face and have them press down for a couple of minutes...it should get you to sleep real well.

Watch a couple of lousy movies...work out for about an hour at 8 or 9pm...take a hot bath...Nyquil...Tylenol blue pills...good luck!

A couple of highballs a half an hour before bedtime should do the trick.

I hope this isn't too judgemental, but in my experience if someone has difficulty with insomnia, it is due to sin and lack of repentance.

If that were the case you'd all be insomniacs.
