Barrack's push toward Assault Weapon Ban

Barack Obama's gun control agenda is back, but with weasel words you should know about. Until now, the website expressed Obama's support for a semi-auto ban this way: "They also support making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent, as such weapons belong on foreign battlefields and not on our streets". But now Obama revised the ban to read: "They also support making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent". Why the change? Their own platform exposed their ignorance. Obama's firearm banners found out that American soldiers don't carry AR-15s on the battlefield-the legal civilian semiautomatic firearms that Obama wants to ban. As long as the incoming Obama administration supports a semi-auto ban-or any gun ban-it's clear they don't care about your Second Amendment freedom. Obama's website and promises can change all he likes, but it's change that gun owners should never believe in.

Heaven forbid a citizen have a dumbed-down version of a militia weapon.

Obama really only believes that guns that are used for hunting should be owned. He's an absolute extremist on this issue.

I'm curious why he wants to disarm the citizenry.
