Why Celestial "Kingdom"?
I don't like the word "kingdom." Was that word a product of the times, or some eternal principle?

"King of kings"
Kingdom It's not a republic, it's not 'voted' for, etc. I guess "Celestial Dwelling" doesn't paint the proper picture or create the desired effect.

Why do we think democracy is so great on Earth, but so terrible in Heaven?

The American colonists had a saying "no King but Jesus" or something to that effect. Democracy sucks, it's just better than everything else. Monarchy is much more efficient and has greater potential for good, also greater risk of evil - it's totally dependent on the one guy in charge. More often than not, he/she is a douchebag. That won't be a problem in Heaven.

Democracy? Who lives in a democracy?
