Whitney wins the award for making the most dumbest opinions almost sound smart.

Put his LR opinion up there with his San Jose St opinion.

Whitney64 has mentioned that he is or was a newspaper sportswriter. Does anybody know who he wrote for?

From the quality of the few posts I've read of his, I'd say that might have been on the staff of his junior high school paper.

I'm not sure, but in a boardmail when I pointed out how ironic it was that a writer of his credentials (which I hadn't seen, but assumed he had amassed) wouldn't bother spell checking his posts, I got this reply:

"I am so very sorry that while working 12 hour days as a VP for a California and Texas based developer, media and sports entertainment company, I type a few notes in between phone calls, conferences and other duties and never took the time to spell or grammer check to your satisfaction."

Take it for what it's worth... but he's also "looking for a new job".

whitney went under the name Louis Deaux on Cougarfan. I think it's his real name. He's one of the reasons I left there years ago.

He also sent me a boardmail and used his name as that in the signature.

Whitney may not be the coolest cat, but isn't there like an unspoken man rule that you don't "out" people's real names on an internet forum?

I wonder if this is him. I can't imagine who else it would be.

And I can't bear to read it either. I'd rather poke my eyes out.

I wasn't the one who outed him. Just confirmed.
