An example why some people think
of us as fundamentalists or fanatics.
http://www.cougarboard.com/noframes/...tml?id=3091415 I think I know the point. Scantily clad humans on billboards is porn??? No wonder a lot of people think we are kooky. I am not impressed with those kind of billboards, the scantily clad ones. Not good for kids. However, if that is porn how do you talk about the seriousness of real porn and it's evil. |

"Do not use your purchasing power to support moral degradation. And young women, please understand that if you dress immodestly, you are magnifying this problem by becoming pornography to some of the men who see you." I don't necessarily agree with this definition of porn from a dictionary perspective. As an accomplished attorney and judge, doubtless Oaks understands the literal definition as well. He, and I assume the CB poster, are trying to make a broader point. http://lds.org/conference/talk/displ...520-29,00.html

I guess we should protect those gals on the billboards against people who might see them and think in a porn way. |
