Huckabee surging to #1 in Iowa
as reported by CNN and others, if a harbinger of the death of the Republican Revolution. The inmates and Jesus-freaks are officially running the asylum.

Argh.... If it ends up being Hillary vs. Huckabee, then heaven help us. What a disaster that would be.

Huckabee has benefitted from the fact that he's been relatively obscure up to this point. Now that he's made a little noise he'll be getting the best of the rest of the candidates. I think this is a peak for him and he'll fade fast.

Well now that Huckabee has turned Iowa into a dead heat, Romney plans on giving a speech Thursday to inform the votors of his religious views. His campaign just announced so today:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071202/...omney_mormon_1 Do you think any of the brethren will proofread his speech? |

The speech wont reveal much about Mitt's actual beliefs, lest it embolden non-members to attack Mormonism. Also, at the end of the speech, DJRoss will be waterboarded by Mitt to show everyone that it is actually fun.

I let folks on Texags know that Romney will be coming. I hope some of them go to the speech and write up a report.

I'm sure he doesn't know for sure what to say at this point. His consultants and pollsters are still figuring out what's most likely to attract votes. If it's renounce his Mormon faith (Mo Udall actually did that while running for president) he'll do that I'm sure. But don't fret Mormons, win lose or draw he'd probably racant any renunciation after the election.

I wonder if Mitt has ever played dodgeball?
Try to be the last man standing by running around in circles, avoiding everything that is thrown at you, and when under attack, staying as close to the middle as possible. I think he would be pretty good at it.
