Default My new Lost theory

Here's my new theory, and I'll take credit for this being original, though I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking this.

It's important that Jack's ex was pregnant. She looked about 8 months pregnant.

I looked up a timeline on the net and found that two months prior to the crash was when Jack's father stopped talking to him. Maybe that is when Christian found out his girl was preggers and he was going to be a father again.

We've been on the island 3 months after the crash. That leaves three months to last night's flash forward. Or maybe Jack's ex got pregnant a month (can't be much sooner than that since Christian was in Australia) later, putting it 4 months after the crash.

I'm going with that theory.

I'm also going with the theory that this future flash forward state of pain and craziness for Jack is not how the show will end. Jack's on a mission to find the island. He feels guilty they left.

I'm theorizing that only a few were let escape the island and Jack and Kate and maybe a few others were given a choice and they took the greedy way out, leaving everyone else on the island. Dharma is out there on that freighter and they allow Jack, Kate, and a few others to leave (maybe even force some of them like Ben? thus it's Ben in the coffin?) and give them money and a new life in the example of Kate, or just an excuse for Jack not to be on the crashed plane, but they have to live a lie, and not tell people what happened or tell people about the island.

Jack is tortured by this decision of taking the easy way out, and is looking for the island to free them. The final outcome will be that Jack and Kate, teaming with Penelope (or not), finds the island and rescues Desmond and the rest of the gang.

Yes. They were together. I think they're giving us a timeline with the pregnancy.

Based on Bucko's Lost post, I think my theory still looks good, sans the pregnancy thing I was stretching there. What we saw in the flash forward was some point in the middle of the story. We've got three more seasons. I predict that flash forward is maybe end of next season leaving two more seasons for them to find the island again. Bucko's post kinda got me excited for Lost again. Best show on TV.
