Clinton is brilliant in campaigns.
Check out this article:
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com...re-very-close/ I can virtually guarantee you that he has determined that McCain is much harder to beat than Romney, so he is leaking info that McCain and Hillary are tied at the hip to turn off Republican voters. I can't stand his tactics (particularly with respect to Obama), but the guy knows how to win. |

I wonder though if his prominence might not turn voters off further down the road. Do people, even Dems, really want four more years of the drama that was the Clinton Administration?

Even Jonathan Chait is tired of the Clintons.

Bill is proving again that he is the most pure politician this country has ever had. And that is not a compliment.

Clinton, Bill, is all Hillary has. If she had to campaign on her own merits, then she'd be dead in the water. Bill is as dirty as they come, but he's effective, and I imagine people still like him for reasons unknown to me. People voting for Hill are really voting for Bill. I would hope a candidate would use that against her.
