The Mars landing
So what is up with this? We spend a half billion on a ship that can land on Mars, and don't have enough in the budget for a color camera?

We couldn't wait an extra 15 minutes to get some color photos? Are we really in that big of a rush to see the pictures? Or are you saying color photos are coming? I sure hope so. Seems silly otherwise.

The use of black & white is intentional, and done for numerous reasons (most of which I don't understand). The camera(s) on the lander have numerous capabilities, and I doubt that none of them can do color. In fact, I've heard that B&W can be much more useful in many applications than color....

What made you so angry this morning? Did you just realize there is a statistical difference between 0.0% and 0.8%? Must be a scary thought after all these years as an actuary.
