Wow, that was a serious ass kicking
I kind of had the feeling that game 6 was going to look something like that after watching LA's D in game 5. I was thinking more along the lines of a 20 point win though. The 6 touchdown lead was a surprise.
What are the odds we have the same finals match up next season? |

Tanking a must-win by 39? Kobe with only one more assist than my mom? He could learn a lot from Tiger Woods.

Oh, and how strange was Tafoya's "interview" with KG after the game? I felt sorry for her having to pretend that Garnett was making any sense. If I hadn't seen him play flawlessly for 4 quarters I'd have bet money he was drunk off his butt. He gets my vote for worst post championship comments ever.

I think Tafoya and her boss should be sanctioned for sticking a microphone in his face only five seconds after the final horn. Let the dude celebrate already.

I watched Garnett play in Utah when he was still with Minnesota in the last year that Flip Saunders was there. During one play, Saunders was trying to tell Garnett something, and KG snapped back to Flip "Shut the F*** up man, I'm on your f****** team!" I couldn't imagine a player talking back to Sloan like that and getting away with it. And it was not the last time we heard KG throw out the f word that night.

Congrats, Celtics. the better team, for sure.
KG needs to self-medicate. If you notice, Stuart Scott did NOT hand KG the mic when they were on the podium....just Pierce and Ray Allen. And that hack who tried to fish a cigar out of his suit in the middle of the interview...he found it and then put it back into his coat. Even when it isnt your team, it is fun to watch the celebrations.

I noticed that too. I don't think it was an accident. His post game interview started out with him hyperventilating but then he settled down and sounded fairly normal. |
