Cali Coug has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Default If Obama goes negative...

you will see two lines of attack.

1. McCain doesn't understand economics or modern industry (he can't run a computer).

2. McCain is out of touch with the American people and is an elitist snob (particularly if McCain tries to go this route with Obama).

Comments like the one in the article above, together with other comments like "only people who make more than $4 million a year are rich" will look pretty bad.

I would certainly hope that Obama is smarter than to pin his campaign hopes upon the fact that McCain has 5 or 7 or whatever homes. I mean wow what an outlandish thing to have, 5 or 7 or whatever homes.

Maybe we will be lucky and he will follow your advice and McCain will win in a landslide.

As for being out of touch, are you kidding, do you truly feel that Obama has any touch with the American populace? I've got some ocean front property in Arizona for you. Neither of these "politicians" truly has a clue about the day to day grinds of the American populace, and to think otherwise is ridiculous.

I think Obama's beginnings are humble enough to understand the day to day grind of the American people, but not the day to day grind of his Kenyan siblings.

Obama might be able to understand the plight of drug addicts. Maybe if elected president he can be more progressive on drug treatment.

Alternately, McCain and his wife can start a rehab program for painkiller addicts who steal perc and vic from non-profits.

Someone that had family there and was concerned about maintaining family ties and caring for them.

It's getting fun. First Obama rolls out this commercial:

McCain's team responded with:

Quote:
Does a guy who made more than $4 million last year, just got back from vacation on a private beach in Hawaii and bought his own million-dollar mansion with the help of a convicted felon really want to get into a debate about houses? Does a guy who worries about the price of arugula and thinks regular people “cling” to guns and religion in the face of economic hardship really want to have a debate about who’s in touch with regular Americans?

The reality is that Barack Obama’s plans to raise taxes and opposition to producing more energy here at home as gas prices skyrocket show he’s completely out of touch with the concerns of average Americans.

I love it when the candidates take turns straw-manning each other.
