Default If the BCS bowl selections were today...

This site uses the exact same BCS formula

BCS Championship: Oklahoma vs. Alabama
Rose Bowl: Penn State (Big 10 Champion) vs. Cal (Pac-10 Champion)
Fiesta Bowl: At-large first choice vs. At-large fourth choice
Sugar Bowl: At-large second choice vs. At-large fifth choice
Orange Bowl: Virginia Tech (ACC Champion) vs. At-large third choice

Of the five at-large selections, the Big East champion (Pittsburgh) and Utah would have to be taken. If neither of the first three selections take them, pick #4 would have to go to one and pick #5 gets the other.

Teams must finish in the Top 14 to be eligible for at-large selections, which leaves:
3. Missouri
4. Texas
6. LSU
7. USC
8. Georgia
9. Texas Tech
11. Vanderbilt
12. BYU
13. Ohio State
14. Florida

-Fiesta would take Texas with the first pick, keeping with the Big 12 tradition.
-Sugar would take LSU with the second pick, keeping with the SEC tradition.
-Orange has the most difficult pick: they would want Florida or Georgia due to local interest; however USC and Ohio State carry great national interest.
-Fiesta takes Utah over Pittsburgh with the fourth pick; this is a no-brainer after the 2004 turnout by each school.
-Sugar is forced to take Pittsburgh.

I thought the BCS formulas were fairly secretive.
