The topic of Benson's political beliefs came up, and I thought of some of his more paranoid beliefs, regarding Eisenhower's supposed communist collaboration and how the civil rights movement was a communist plot. Danger looked around every corner....

Isn't that in some ways in the same vein as Glenn Beck's paranoid ideation?

I don't pay attention to Glenn Beck anymore. I used to listen to him from time to time, way before most of you had ever heard of him. This would have been about 2000-2001 when he was on AM radio. Not that I hate him any more than the other paranoid ranters on AM radio.

Would any of us be surprised to wake up and find out that Glen Beck had died of an overdose, or some other kind of bad end? Some may think that he is merely a troll......but it is hard to troll on topics that you don't care about, or have at least some belief in.

It would be unfortunate if Mormonism became too closely associated with Beck's smallness and shamelessness.

I don't watch him but he is kicking down the door between Mormons and born-agains (at least partially). That alone is worth all the crap that is coming out of his mouth.
