Default If Riley Nelson is reinstalled as starter...

....first fumble or interception (and there will be many), and the pitchforks and torches will be marching in Provo.

This is a losing proposition for Bronco. Nelson will not play well against good competition. His measurables are too limiting.

Hill needs more incubation time as he doesn't trust his pass reads.

Does Bronco die with Nelson or fly and potentially crash and burn with Hill? It is a no win proposition.

I'm not sure that I am completely buying the "nelson sucked because his back was hurt" story. The kid is small and doesn't have a strong arm, and that is going to limit him no matter how healthy he is.

At this point, Nelson sees the field better than Taysom Hill. But in terms of size, arm strength, speed, strength, Hill is better already.

We're obviously not going to a BCS bowl. If it's anywhere close to being a wash, let's play Hill. As long as we feel like he can develop and not get "damaged" from playing before he is ready. He doesn't strike me as one of the mentally weak midgets we have had at QB in recent years who get shattered by poor performances. Kid has gumption.

Bad news.

Yesterday, Hill saw the majority of the reps. Today, Nelson saw fifty percent. That sucks.

Bronco is preparing us to use Riley. And I thought he wouldn't do that. Yuck.

Personally, I'd prefer he'd coach the entire team than cheerlead one particular player.
