That guy is an asshole. He's a former Dem staffer in the Senate, disputing the notion that Dems are more friendly toward Mormons than are Republicans.

The Dems with sway and power don't like Mormons, even though they tolerate Harry Reid. If Mormons are looking for tolerance and favor from the Dems, they are sadly grossly mistaken. The last place I'd ever expect acceptance is with a group of Dems. Of course, I'm not looking for validation from some political wonks.

We just need to get rich enough so that the politicos come to us, and not vice versa. If we could develop a row of Mormon multi-billionaires, we would become politically important.
