Default Zach Braff movie night

Lazy Friday night and I rented The Last Kiss. Described as a comedy but I didn't laugh that much. It was actually a rather sad commentary on marriage and relationships. But I enjoyed it and followed it up with Garden State because I needed a pick me up or at least something a bit more hopeful. Braff is becoming one of my favorite actors despite the fact I haven't been able to get into Scrubs.

Someone explain to me what was so wonderful about Garden State?

I watched the movie and thought it was dull and boring.

I had a friend completely flip out when I told him my opinion of it so I agreed to watch it again with him.

It was worse the 2nd time.

Oh...and Natalie Portman still looks like she's 13 years old.

Sam: Hey, I recognize you.
Andrew Largeman: Oh, did you go to Columbia High?
Sam: No, not from high school, from TV. Didn't you play the retarded quarterback?
Andrew Largeman: Yeah.
Sam: Are you really retarded?
Andrew Largeman: No.
Sam: Ooh, great job man! I really thought you were retarded. I mean, you're better than that Corky kid and he's actually retarded. If there was a retarded Oscar you would win, hands down, kick his ass!
