Blu-Ray DVD Players
I think it may be time to take the plunge and get a Blu-Ray player. Anyone purchased one yet (other than PS3)? Recommendations?

I have a PS3. I did some research and the PS3 is actually a pretty good Blu-ray player. One of the upsides is that you can use the PS3 wireless connectivity to get firmware upgrades for the system for improved quality and functionality.

What Indy said, at the price standalone Blu Ray players are now no reason to not get a ps3 if you want one.

Do PS3s and Blue Rays play regular DVDs in addition to Blue Rays?

Lebowski: You may want to wait and see how the release of Blu-ray Profile 2.0 compliant players affects the price of the 1.1 players. Unless of course, you prefer a 2.0 player. Looks like there are rumors that Microsoft will offer a stand-alone blu-ray player as an add-on for xbox systems in the next few months. They think the price will be around $200. I think I will wait and see.
