The quotation is taken out of context. Note Einstein's reference is to the "fanatical atheists." Most people here would regard him an atheist because he most emphatically did not believe in the Judeo-Christian God. He rejected the concept of a "personal god," a god who intrudes in or manages human affairs. The concept of "modern revelation" in the sense of a shining personage standing in a shaft of light and speaking to a human would have been far fetched to him to say the least. Actually, this is only as far as any thinking atheist will ever go, including Richard Dawkins.
Einstein said he was a religious man only in the sense that he stood in awe of the mysteries of the universe. I think that sums Dawkins up as well. I heard him say in a recent interview that he doesn't know what happened before the big bang; that is a mystery to him. As I've noted, the difference between atheists and agnostics invariably boils down to nomenclature and what they choose to call themselves.

Why do you say it was taken out of context? Unless I missed something, Tooblue didn't say that it meant anything other than what it says.

There is a subtext. You should know by now I'm good at spotting and reading subtexts.
