Absent badly timed turnovers
and weird momentum switches, I predict BYU to win comfortably against UNLV.
The reason, Dixon is not a very good passer and is terrible in the redzone. Their running back is not the type I fear and their receivers have not be dependable. I don't believe they will consistently stop the BYU O.

BYU will need to tackle well. Summers is a load. 240 and low to the ground. I'd like to see BYU sustain drives and keep the defense off the field as much as possible.

UNLV is a bad team, and I scoff at the notion of a "good crowd' (Sanford comments from earlier today). When I went to the UNLV game in 1999, it was easily 2/3rd cougar fans. I see no reason to expect otherwise this time.
Load the box and make them throw. This isn't Tulsa, so I don't expect to get beat deep. |
