I would love to see Wyoming kick the crap out Boise this weekend. I'm not sure they will, but after UCLA beat BYU I'm convinced anything can happen this season. After catching the last few minutes of the 1996 WAC Championship game tonight on BYUTV I remembered how much more fun it is to beat a good Wyoming team than a bad one.

that was a good game, complete with the cheap shot to itula mili's knee.

i hate wyoming but i'd like them to take down boise. boise is byu's main competition for the best non-bcs brand name.

Hate to break it to you fellow Pogues dude, but it's the other way around. BYU is BSU's main competition for the best non-BCS team. After all, they did play in a BCS game last year.

Wow, I just realized I hate all 4 teams...

Cowboys, both Dallas and Wyoming
Broncos, both Boise and Denver

I'm going to lean with Wyoming to win this one, just because it is better for the MWC.

When I was in high school, I had a chance to play on the blue carpet. It was very hard and had no give. It was like playing on a basketball court. Now the Mini-dome had a nice carpet to play on.

I remember that blessed day in 1996 well. It happened to be the day that my wife went through the temple for the first time. It was also the day that my parents (lifelong BYU fans) first met my in-laws (lifelong Wyoming fans).

After our temple session, we were meeing a bunch of other family members for dinner. We ended up sitting in the car for about 30 minutes past our meeting time as we listened to the finish on the radio.

Praise Jesus the game ended the way it did and our life together started out on the right foot.

Of course, we got to watch the Cotton Bowl, or at least part of it, during our honeymoon. Another sign from the heavens that we were meant to be together.
