Don't have HBO, but I'm really interested to see how this turns out. HBO did a great job with Band of Brothers. Hopefully this seven part series will be just as good. The McCullough biography was fantastic.

I thought the first episode "Join or Die" was good, not great. They had a lot of character building to get through and that was so so. The Second episode "Independence" was fantastic. Can't wait for the next one.

They are doing a pretty good job of sticking to the history books as well, even incorporating actual speeches from many of the major players. For a history nerd like me, this is fantastic. I can't wait to see more. |

I caught a bit from my hotel room last week. They did re-runs almost every night. Looks very good.
The reviews say that the first hour or two is a bit boring, but it really picks up after that.
