Default Georges St. Pierre

looks like he came straight off the pages of a comic book.

He destroyed Serra.

I would have liked to see this version of St. Pierre against Sakuraba in his prime.

Junkie, who do you think would win between Rampage and St. Pierre, given that Sakuraba beat Rampage?

I can't see GSP beating Anderson Silva, let alone Rampage.

The difference in weight class would give Rampage a huge advantage over GSP. GSP is fighting Jon Fitch next and Anderson Silva will fight Okami, if they both win (which they should) I think around Christmas we will see Anderson Silva vs Georges St. Pierre.

weight class didn't stop Sakuraba from beating talented heavier oppponents.

Rich Franklin, man did he dominate. Lutter was gassed quick. And then Franklin says "Lutter is known for his lack of conditioning."

That with not making the weight againt Silva, I hope to never see Lutter again.

I will say for sure I am glad you are watching, it was about this time last year that you were so adamant about boxing. Finding an Asian in MMA has helped you like the sport more. . Not to sound gay but GSP has an unbelievable body, I agree with you he looks like he came from a comic book.

Boxing is more dangerous than MMA, in my opinion. There is less luck involved in boxing as well. Also, the skill level is higher in boxing.

Average fans are excited about "action" when in fact, a lot of action often means mediocre skills for the combatants. The best fighters, in either sport, don't flail wildly or take huge risks. This is why great fights are often considered boring.

I think being a boxing champion will always hold more cache than being a MMA champion because of the "lucky shot" element in MMA. That's why there are so no dominant unbeaten champions in MMA.

Lutter, actually looked great in the 1st round, had Franklin in a deep armbar. His problem is he has to cut too much weight to get to 185; he needs to move up to LHW.

Lutter looked fat. I don't know why you think he cut too much weight.

What he needs is strength and stamina in relation to his opponents. He had neither. Esp. stamina.

Lutter's never going to be a shredded 185lber; cutting weight will always be hard on him and his body at MW, that's why I suggested a move up to LHW.

I agree that he needs to work on his cardio; he's over confident in his ground work. We've probably seen the last of Lutter on a main card. I think he's a tool, but he's got serious bjj skills.
