Default Whatever happened to "clear video evidence"?

I think the best guess on the 2 controversial calls that went against us was that the ball hit the ground and the quarterback's knee was down.

But at least from my angle, there was no "clear video evidence" that this was the case.

In the case of the QB's knee I think they got the call right, but they did so without following protocol, IMO.

I'm still not sure on the other one. I claim there was no way they could distinguish whether that ball hit Pitta's hand or the ground.

The same thing happened against UCLA.

When did MWC replay officials decide their best guess was sufficient.

That said, I'm glad that 2nd call went against us, because we got to see our defense crank it up on that last drive, leaving no doubt who the better team was. But at the time, I was pissed.

Maybe the refs had a high def signal. My signal was like looking down in the water at a TV thrown into a pool.

I agree. I think they probably got the calls right, but not in the appropriate manner. I was glad we lost that one off Pitta's hand. A lucky play like that felt kind of whimpy.
