Another Torture/Interrogation Question

For those who're firmly against strong interrogation tactics.....can you please tell me what, if any, are the right and appropriate tactics?

To them it's a morality issue (which I find highly ironic).

I'm not up on this information, but I would certainly support a protocol to be used in torture situations that is scientifically tested to be most effective with most humane approach.

I thought the question was to torture or fail to get the info and allow people to die.
