Default Two key recruits

1. Tyler Haws

2. Star big man

I see the following as "star players" into the future. To continue reloading and not rebuild, we need three each year, with at least one being a big man.

09 Plaisted, JT, Lee, Jimmer
10 Miles, JT, Jimmer
11 Big man??, Harstock?, Haws, Jimmer
12 Big man??, Harstock?, Collinsworth, Haws
13 Big man??, Collinsworth, Haws

With Haws and a key big man recruit, this puts us in a comfortable position for quite a while.

HB Arnette thinks he's a long-shot. He's not overly athletic.

Said "We also observed in Vegas that he had family in attendance, one of which was wearing a t-shirt that prominently stated, "Friends don't let friends go to BYU""

We'll see.

Doesn't Collinsworth have a little brother who is bigger and better?

Kyle Collinsworth plays for Provo High. I think he's a Sophomore, and a starting Guard. He's 6'2, if I remember correctly. I watched him play against Orem.

Also, there's a Junior (I think) forward playing for Provo name Davies. He's on BYU's recruiting radar as well, but I think he's rather undersized for a D1 Forward. Seemed rather athletic, though.

Brandon Davies is very athletic, just raw.

He currently has BYU #1 on his list.

Only 6'2"? Sorry. For some reason I was thinking he was bigger than his brother or projected to be bigger.

Maybe Bronson Kaufusi can play both football and basketball. He's also only a sophomore and has been a beast on the court as well as on the football field. Some say he could get to the 6'9" range. If that happens, basketball is probably his sport.

Sorry, I just did a quick search, and Desnews reported his height at 6'4 in an article. I seem to recall, as well, projections for him being at least as tall as his brother.

Some other prospects for BYU, according to HB:

-Charles Abouou (already signed LOI)
-CJ Wilcox (PG High): 6'4, 180. SG/SF, 2009.
-Brandon Davies (Provo): 6'7, 200. PF, 2009.
