I don't know if they do this everywhere or not but the AppleBee's here in my town opens their restaurant for fundraisers every Saturday morning for a pancake breakfast. The youth in my ward did one today. The tickets were $5 and the organization provides servers, hostesses, kitchen helpers, busboys, etc. Applebee's just had a manager and a cook there. Not sure what the breakdown of the $5 is but I imagine Applebee's keeps a couple bucks to pay for the food.

Not a bad deal and my daughter had great fun being a waittress at a real restaurant.
