Dem convention
Any watchers?
I had it on in the background while working. Not too much seemed to stand out, except when I would occassionally glance up and see an attendee with tears in their eyes. I'd make fun, but I'm sure the feeling inside the Pepsi Center (boo Nuggets!) was pretty exciting. Plus, the emotional attendees were women and you know how they get. Senator Obama's children made a brief appearance. They are adorable and did a thousand times better than the Bush twins performance four years ago. I bet SU would have been revolted at the sight of two cute little girls (one is ten and the other is seven). |

Kind of sad that their "big moment" is only background noise to the likes of Hannity and the rest.

Michelle Obama's lawyer-mom-husband identity should have hit some of those rural midwesterners right in the sweet spot. She was channeling Clair Huxtable.

I wanted to watch. I really did. But I watched the US Open instead. It was a US vs US match-up, so that's practically patriotic.
