Default Las Vegas Bowl

is on the very first day that the bowls start.

In other words, the very least prestigious day to have a bowl.

Well at least the EagleBank Bowl, New Mexico Bowl, and magicJack St. Petersburg Bowl will all be over before the prestigious Las Vegas Bowl starts all on that day. I guess with the primetime slot at 8pm EST, it *is* the most prestigious bowl on the least prestigious day.

What day is it?

Why are we playing it?

Why should we care about Arizona? This will be one dead game.

The games go through January eighth this year. That's just so wrong.

When is that damn NIT going to create games for the 5-7 and 4-8 teams? I mean who in their right mind doesn't want to watch UNLV play Stanford in Fort Worth, or Illinois play Colorado in Birmingham? What are we supposed to do the week of Dec. 13-19?

Absolutely. Baylor can take on Vandy in Tulsa in the Dust Bowl. The possibilities are limitless.

woah. I just noticed Vandy's really playing in a bowl this year. Should 6-6 teams be bowl eligible?

That's why four new bowl games have been created over the past two years, because the uniform addition of the 12th game has created a mathematical minimum of 66 6-win teams every year. Hence, 33 bowls.

What's even better, David Hasselhoff is singing the national anthem.

I don't know if there's a better way to say "irrelevant" than that.

7 wins should be the requirement.
