Default How a cyberphilosopher convinced followers to cut off family

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servl...ry/Technology/

"I was using FDR as an escape from reality . . . It was an addiction and it consumed me," said Rob Griesbach, a former member from Virginia, who began reading FDR at 16.

"They invite you to share your history. He always tries to pick out abuses, reasons to be angry. Whatever problem you have, he'll track it back to your parents," said Dylan Boswell, a former member from Arizona. "I was at a vulnerable point in my life and I wanted to be part of this community."

It's very interesting news. The man is a charlatan that preys upon the vulnerable and should be exposed. It's really not a lot different than the spaceship cult etc.

Just like Christ was a charlatan, who broke up families, and needed to be exposed?

I'm saying Christ's message has been more subversive and has broken up more families than this guy has and ever will.

And if you really thought this guy was dangerous you wouldn't be giving him more exposure. In fact, I think this post squarely labels you as a moron.

Almost every conversion in my mission caused a rift in a family, some practically disowned.

I'm so sick of people being stupid around here on this website.

FWIW, I agree Christ breaks up families and has broken up many.

Enter in the disdain ... lol ... more exposure is a good thing, it brings to light the fact that while operating in secrecy his ideas have gone uncontested and now that he has been exposed he's going to spend more time offline!
