Great Lost...and 24
I was surprised to see many on the blogs complaining again that it was filler and didn't advance the story. I thought it was great TV. I loved seeing flashbacks on the island--especially Ben and Juliet in the Swan. They haven't done that much, and it was very good. Helps you understand there is more that you're not seeing, and to be patient with the unfolding of the story.
Classic line: "Who the hell is Nikki?" Lost is kicking the crap out of 24 for me right now. I'm still behind a couple shows on 24 on my TIVO and I can't get motivated to catch up. OK, here's where Jack tortures the guy, he gives up information, and Jack saves the day. Here's where a gov't guy gets power hungry and abuses his power. Here's where Jack escapes, you think he's gonna die and he miraculously escapes. Here's where we wonder if there's a mole at CTU. Here's where we wonder if personal issues will get in the way of someone doing their job. It really is getting stale. I think they ought to hang it up. I don't think I'll watch after this season. |

I thought LOST was ok. Ever since Nikki and Paolo appeared out of the blue earlier this season, I've been expecting them to be killed off at some point. And really, the main draw for watching next week is the promise of a chick fight between Kate and Juliet? Really? |

It was filler, but it was good filler. That would have been a good Twilight Zone episode.

I did love when you came to the realization of the situation with Nikki and Paulo and that they were down in the grave. That was pretty good and I will agree entirely with the great line of: Who the hell is Nikki?
