Kids are the best
I've got a 2 year old and he tried to sneak out into the front yard all alone tonight. I caught him and let him know that he can't be out front by himself. He seemed very upset at this restriction and asked me, as 2 year olds are wont to do, "why"? I told him that there were lots of reasons. One of them was that a bad person might take him away if his mommy or daddy wasn't there to protect him. He thought about this for a long time. So long that I thought he'd actually accepted it as a legitimate answer. He then said, "Dad. I will fight the bad guy. I will turn into a power ranger." He was of course quite serious and as far as he's concerned the matter is settled.
Ok, now that I've actually typed this I realize it's probably only cute to me. But what the heck, I'm hitting submit anyway. |

Great story, kids sure are great.
I have a 3 year old brother. One day he told my mom that he wanted a little sister. Mom asked him, "Where will we get one?" He replied, "At the baby show!" We're not sure where he got that from. |

I flew from Atlanta to SLC tonight and there were 3 whiny kids sitting in front of me. Tonight, I'm in no mood to hear how cute kids are.
