Is Robert Horry the greatest role player ever?
I love that guy. Even though he put a dagger through the heart of my Kings a few years back, I can't help but really respect the way Horry plays ball. He does it all, and as we all know he hits clutch shots as well as anybody ever has. I know he's played with some of the greatest of our time, but I think one could make a serious case that 3 or 4 of those rings would not have been won without him on the team.

Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, and Reggie Miller come to mind. While they may not have hit as many clutch shots (I don't know if that's the case or not), their performances are more impressive because they were the first option. Horry has always been the 2nd or 3rd option, allowing him a more open shot than the other players would have.
