Someone on the comments section was asking why he hasn't been excommunicated. Certainly members have been excommunicated for crimes committed, often in absentia. I have no idea if this rises tot he level of excommunication in the church, but I think any sense of proportionality would make you lean towards at least considering it. |

I would be very surprised if Southwick hadn't been excommunicated. I personally know someone who was exed for financial fraud far smaller than this. |
