Black Bush
I was looking for a comedy category but couldn't find one, so this seemed like the next best thing. I just watched the following video clip for the first time:
http://www.comedycentral.com/sitewid...l?itemId=11923 This is the funniest thing I have seen in a long, long time. This has been around for a while, so I apologize if this is old news for some of you. Warning: mild profanity.

Chappelle is probably the funniest perston in the entertainment industry today.
Black Bush is hilarious, but the funniest thing I've seen is the character (I can't remember the name) who is a blind, black leader of a small chapter of the KKK. Tears flow every time I see it.

Chapelle is hilarious and is one of those crazy entertainers who refuses to sell out. He got a 50+ million dollar contract with Comedy Central, the highest in the history of television. Then he walked away because he felt that the CC exec's wanted too much say in his work. Crazy if you ask me, but maybe that's why he's so funny, because he writes and performs only what HE thinks will work. I'd have taken the 50 mill. and danced like a poodle for them.

Chappelle
Yellow cake! They trying to get yellow cake!
I have both seasons of Chappelle's show on DVD. The racial draft is my personal favorite. The funniest part of the show for me was my AA pal who used to laugh so hard he couldn't breathe when we would watch it. I moved away and the first time I heard from him is when Chappelle went AWOL. He was nearly hysterical "what am I gonna do?" I said" is Wayne Brady going to have to choke a bitch?"(another line from the show) And all was well. Il Padrino- the name of the white supremacist character is Clayton Bigsby. The line about him divorcing his wife is classic. |

Clayton Bigsby! That's it.
I saw Chappelle the other day on "Inside the Actor's Studio". Chappelle did a bit of Bigsby and about lost it when Lipton asked him if he ever missed the warmth of a burning cross. Absolutely hilarious. And yes, the line about divorcing his wife was one of the funniest things I've ever heard.
