Named sandwiches
I love a good sandwich. There are certain sandwiches that are so good that they have been named and their ingredients are consistent. I'm thinking of sandwiches like the Italian, Reuben, Philly Cheesesteak, Club, Mufalleta and others. I have been on a Reuben kick lately, as there are a couple of local places that know how to make them well.
Anybody have any favorites? |

My absolute favorite sandwich is fried peanut butter and honey.
But I love clubs. |

Those in Salt Lake can go to Joni's Deli and get the Dagwood. Based on the Blondie comic strips, it has, well, everything.

Sounds like a sticky mess. I'll stick with the Reuben.

I love Euro sandwiches. A bagette, some kind of smoked meat (usually ham or dry salami), butter and/or cheese, and little or nothing else. I grew up on them as a child in Brazil.
The bagette has to be crispy, goddamnit. If it's soft it's not a bagette. For hot dog lovers, there's nothing like "le hot dog" in France. Hot dog, French cheese, some kind of delicious onion sauce, inside of a fresh bagette.
