I didn't include a lot that I watched as a kid because they don't register on the importance scale like the newer ones.
Happy Days Magnum PI A Team Dukes of Hazzard Cosby Show Also, the afternoon shows or reruns of old shows were just as or more important such as Gilligan's island Batman Welcome Back Kotter Get Smart Munsters Adams Family |

My list (in no particular order):
The Andy Griffith Show Lidsville Hogan's Heroes The Brady Bunch Charlie's Angels I've noted this before, but Charlie's Angels is the show that set off puberty for me and millions of guys my age - maybe even some girls who were confused about their sexual identity. I call that phenomenon "The Small Bang Theory", so to speak.

Some of my shows have already been listed.
But THE defining TV show for me.... Twin Peaks. None before and none since have touched it. Most unique show I have ever seen on the airwaves.

Different Strokes - The first show I remember watching after school.
MASH - KSL reruns every day at 5:00 for my entire adolescence Simon and Simon - I watched it with my older brothers and thought I was grown up. Full House/Perfect Strangers/Family Matters - TGIF Magnum P.I. - Same as S&S. SNL - I knew I was big time when I was allowed to stay up to watch. Saved by the Bell - I still love to catch SBB reruns. Friends - Rachel was the first love of my life. Seinfeld - I began to love cynicism. Curb Your Enthusiasm - Larry still cracks me up. Arrested Development - I feel partly responsible for the loss of this show by not watching it during it's short run. |

I frankly don't remember too many shows I watched during the evening.
Gunsmoke. Ponderosa, Star Trek, Saturday Night Live, Johnny Carson Tonight Show, MASH, Get Smart, the Fugitive, Lucille Ball Show, Edgar R. Murrow's Show Ed Sullivan Show (I think, as I was young then or maybe I just remember replays) Six Million Dollar Man, Steve Austin Bill Cosby Show Sport Center and that's about it.
