Have you ever written or called the brethren?
Have you ever written or called the brethren about a doctrinal issue or to get them to resolve a conflict in your ward/branch?

A letter was read in sacrament asking members to cease doing it.
Why would I write so that a secretary could respond to my inquiry?

as long as the brethren respond to letters in General Conference, I see no reason to not send them correspondence.
The closest I have gotten was contact the IT team on the church website telling them how terrible it was (this was about 4 years ago when you couldn't access the website on Sundays because it was too taxed). Instead of going to SLC, my message was routed to my stake web specialist, who of course knew nothing and could do nothing, and didn't really care, I don't think. That was a good lesson. When things are terrible, they don't want to know. |

btw, it's usually women who are writing these letters, if GC is any indication.

so who would you write to say "My Bishop and Stake President are lovers." One presumes you should go up the chain and not report to the SP.
