No photographs at church, does it make sense?
We are increasingly living in an age where we share our experiences through social media. We can photo everything but church. No photos, didn't happen.
Part of me likes the rule of no photos. I don't want people holding up their phones all the time, videoing crap and taking and photos of their kids. But we need to SELL this thing....and the old rules increasingly don't make sense. Sort of like listening to someone stumble through old English "thou" "thine" in a prayer.....what sense does this make to speak a special language in a prayer that NONE of us ever otherwise use. That NO ONE uses. Traditions gotz to go. At least the ones with no purpose. |

Is that a rule? What are the parameters? I see people taking pictures in church? I guess not in sac meeting, but otherwise I do.
