Default Multiply and Replenish the Earth

Why are many religions so big on this concept, especially since the earth is already replenished?

Could it be that massive reproduction is the most effective way to increase the number of faithful tithe payers?

Why not? I believe there are plenty of spirits waiting for bodies that would like to come to a family where things are good.

The reason this is a problem is because it's a completely unfounded belief with real world consequences.

Perhaps the "re" should be considered.

Does the Hebrew confirm the idea that the earth was once populated and needs to be repopulated? Not that I believe any of it has any basis in reality, but I thought I heard that "replenish" isn't a great translation.

This command was given way before the mythical flood.

An unfounded belief? For you or Lingo?
