CAL vs. Air Force in the Armed Forces Bowl

Nevada vs. New Mexico in the New Mexico Bowl

TCU vs. Houston in the Texas something something blah, blah bowl.

We got the worst match up, not that BYU can't lose to UCLA, they already have.

Does UCLA have injuries to any key players on defense or offense. I see Olson doesn't play any more.

I think Cowan is still pretty banged up, but will likely be better by Dec 22. I don't see Olsen playing much in that game. My only worry about Cowan is that he can run a little bit, which we seem to have big problems with.

Playing UCLA is much better than playing Nevada or Houston. I'd rather have played Cal just for a change, but beating UCLA gives BYU the most prestigious win of any of the MWC bowls. I realize that's not saying much.

Utah got the best matchup of all the MWC teams in our bowl. Also, it is not right that a 3rd place team should get a better matchup than the conference champion.

It was a huge mistake for this conference to not try to keep the Liberty Bowl. I know BYU fans hated that bowl, but it was a conference champion vs. a conference champion.

This conference needs to win all of those bowls.

I'm not buying Navy as a better matchup. They may be a better team (debatable) but beating them won't give you anywhere near that respect that your drubbing of UCLA got you this year.

Which win is a bigger deal on a national stage... beating UCLA or Navy?

Who cares what is bigger on the national stage. I've never understood the Ute fanbase and BYU fanbase and their obsession with "national respect."

I want the best team possible in the bowl game. Navy is a better team than UCLA, so I would rather play Navy.
