Yea, but in reality those words have been hi-jacked.

For instance, "dick". I can't remember what King it was but one of the Richards did something really dumb. The term started what a Richard and evolved into what a dick.

I did think that was quaint for each of them to share their previous experiments in polygamy and polyandry, but neither one actually explained whether it continues to this day or not.
