Are any of you Republicans going to second-guess your affiliation
with the GOP, if Romney goes down because of his Mormonism?
The parties are actually not that far apart. You can find anti-abortion dem candidates. Pro-gun dems. Anti-gay marriage dems. Small-govt. dems. It would be too bad if the dem party in Utah in particular can't capitolize on this bigotry to point out that many are mindlessly cozying up to people who hate them. |

Liberals are more likely to not make Mormonism an issue. Look at Oregon and Massachusetts.

In the end, if Romney sinks I don't think it will be because of his religion. Some part of me hopes Romney wins the nomination, just so thoughts like this can be exposed for the garbage that it is.

What about Harry Reid? He seems to be only moderately insane.

So you literally are not aligned with a single thing in the democratic party? that actually is pretty unique. I rarely meet someone who is 100% aligned (knowingly) with all his/her party's beliefs.

I didn't say that. I am not 100% aligned with anyones thinking on anything. Not even President Hinckley's. I do know that any democrat will support democratic ideas most of the time. That means most of the time they will be supporting something I don't even though sometimes they will.
