Someone on Cougarboard said President Hinckley passed away.....
Anyone hear this? I would guess it would be all over the media right now but no word anywhere.

On KSL right now. He lived a good, long life and is back with his wife. President Monson will do well.

I will truly miss him. If we are allowed to have favorites. I always thought President McKay would always be mine. However, President Hinckley was just so great.

He will be missed, and long and fondly remembered.

He had a way of making you think that knew him and that he cared about you. In other words, his warmth made the church a smaller place.
However, a new era is at hand now, and Br. Hinckley has entered his new work. |

Very sad. I actually got choked up when I told my wife. He was an amazing man.

My sentiments are the same as everyone else's.
It is a sad day for the Church he left behind, but it is a very happy reunion for he and his wife, as well as his predecessors both in the church and in his family. It is truly the end of an era. |
