Default Biden?!

Good Lord. I can't stand Biden. This makes it easy.

Cali seems to think it is wonderful pick, but Obama could deficate in public and Cali would praise it as an amazingly timely expression of his unity with the common people, all of whom defecate as well.

The pick puzzles me. Very old school Democrat, absolutely no wow factor. Kind of like Bush picking Chaney, the second time. I think it is an expression of Obama's confidence that he has this thing wrapped up. Or that he has concerns about the base. Take your pick.

When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.

Cali hates this, but Cali would praise the selection of Mussolini, Stalin, Lenin or Mao.

It is an interesting pick, one with possibility but one with potential for mistake. Biden has said some nice things about McCain and some not so nice things about Obama.

If there was ever any doubt that Obama is the most hypocritical politician of all time, it's gone now.

I've always thought that Obama's VP pick would be an white, grey-haired Washington veteran. Obama doesn't need a VP that will excite the base; if Obama himself does not already excite you, the VP isn't likely to do it-- if anything, it would seem somewhat reckless. On the other hand, it puts someone with experience on the ticket, shoring up a glaring weakness. Biden also gives the Obama ticket some assistance on foreign policy, helping to shore up an even more glaring weakness.

It's a good pick. Time will tell if it's good enough.

I guess all that talk from the Obama campaign about McCain being a Washington insider was just opportune political speak. Can we believe in anybody these days?

PAC is right on the hair. What is that, a comb-back-over?

it's interesting how you are a bigger GOP hack than Tex.

Tex doesn't like the dems. You absolutely hate them. It's interesting.

I was just talking with my sister about the pick. She asked why Biden. I gave the reasons: a older, more experienced veteran with strong foreign policy credentials.

Her reply: "So basically, he's McCain?"

Come to think of it . . .

Perhaps. But she's a big football fan. Rare thing to see in girls these days. So hate on, I say.
